Celestial Division's 2004-05 Fall/Winter Season Awards Announced

                The League Awards Committee has announced the winners of the Celestial Division's 2004-2005 Fall/Winter season awards and the division's all star team.
                 Indians' Huizing Named MVP: Shortstop John Huizing of the champion Coconut Creek Indians was honored as the league's Most Valuable Player.
                 Huizing hit .486 while leading the division in stolen bases and runs scored. Huizing also tied for the division's RBI crown becoming only the second leadoff hitter in league history to lead, or share the lead, in RBI.
                 Danny Marmol of the Oakland Park A's, Justin Shiver of the Indians, Jimmy Dingus of the Boca Raton Bocaneers, and Robert Sinclair of the Hallandale Twins also received votes. 
                 Shiver Wins Best Pitcher Award: Justin Shiver of the Coconut Creek Indians was a unanimous choice as the winner of the Best Pitcher Award.
                 Shiver, who won last season's Playoff MVP Award, went 6-0 with a 3.90 ERA and had six complete games for the pennant winning Tribe.
                 The Indians' workhorse, Shiver led the league in innings pitched.
                 Bailey Honored As Division's Best Manager: Ed Bailey, who led the Hallandale Twins to a surprising second place finish, was voted the division's Best Manager Award. 
                 Levarity Of Twins Wins Sportsmanship Award: Hard hitting outfielder, Lionel Levarity, of the Hallandale Twins was recognized as the Celestial Division's model of Sportsmanship. 
                 In addition to hitting a solid .357 while helping the Twins to a second place finish, Levarity exemplified the Federal League spirit in his approach to the game and by his gentlemanly play.
                 Jimmy Dingus Named Playoff MVP: Jimmy Dingus, who pitched two postseason complete game wins and drove in four runs in three postseason games for the champion Boca Raton Bocaneers, was named the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs.
