Federal League Launches College Summer Division

                 Federal League Baseball, South Florida's leading baseball organization, announced that it will conduct a summer league for college eligible players. The new league will debut in June of 2024.  
                 A minimum of four teams, with the potential for as many as eight, will play a six week schedule, beginning with the second week of June. Teams will play three to four games per week.
                 Each player will be assigned to a team that corresponds to the South Florida county in which they live or in which they attend school.
                 Unlike other college summer leagues, Federal League Baseball's newest venture will not require prospective players to already be on a college baseball team's roster. This will enable players that are seeking to find a place in college baseball to showcase their abilities during the summer months.
                 Current college players will be able to keep their skills sharp during their off-season, without the excessive demands of the five or six game per week schedule, traditionally employed by other area college leagues. 
                 The league will feature top flight umpires, experienced coaches, and the level of organization for which Federal League Baseball is renowned.
