Liberty League Baseball Rules:

Time Limits: In the regular season, no new inning will begin after three hours have elapsed from the scheduled start time (or from the umpire's call of "Play Ball!") In playoff games, no new inning will begin after three hours and fifteen minutes have elapsed from the scheduled start time (or from the umpire's call of "Play Ball!") If a team cannot field nine players, a forfeit will be called 15 minutes after the game's scheduled start time.

Lineups: Each team must have a minimum nine players to play and maintain a minimum of nine batters. There is no maximum number of batters and new batters may be added to the bottom of the lineup at any time. In the case of an injury, the injured player may be removed from the lineup and the injured player's lineup spot may be eliminated. If a team cannot fill a lineup spot with an eligible batter, for any reason other than an injury, an automatic out will result. Lineup cards must be submitted to the umpires and the opposing manager five minutes prior to the start of the game. Proper lineup cards should include each player's last name and jersey number.

Run Rule: 12 runs after seven innings. If a team is leading by 12 runs or more after the opposing team has batted seven time, the game will be over.

Runners: Each team's catcher (the player that caught the most recent defensive inning) will receive a courtesy runner. Each team may also pre-designate two additional players that may receive courtesy runners. These players must be noted on the team's lineup card. The courtesy runners shall be the team's most recent batted out.

Dugouts: The designated home team will have the first base dugout in all league games.
